Student Laptops
We believe that technology is an essential tool for learning and success. That’s why we started our student laptop program back in 2014. This programme provides all full-time undergraduate students with a laptop, ensuring that they have the necessary tools to excel in their academic pursuits.
Laptops are essential for research and writing, note-taking, collaborative work, and accessing multimedia resources such as online lectures and interactive course materials. By providing laptops to our students, we ensure that they can access these tools anytime, anywhere, whether they are on campus, at home, or on the go.
Our student laptop program is more than just a technology initiative; it’s an investment in our students’ education and future success. By providing laptops to all undergraduate students, we level the playing field and create a more inclusive learning environment. This programme promotes equity and ensures that all students have equal access to technology and the opportunities it provides.
We also recognize that laptops are not just tools for academic success but also essential for professional success. In today’s world, digital skills are necessary for almost every job, and our laptop program helps students develop these skills from day one. Our students leave Strathmore University with the digital competencies necessary to succeed in the workforce and make meaningful contributions to society.
The student laptop programme is a vital initiative that promotes equity, inclusivity, and digital literacy. We are committed to providing our students with the tools they need to excel in their academic pursuits and prepare for successful careers. By investing in our students’ education and future, we are creating a better tomorrow for everyone.
